Teaching Philosophy
My teaching philosophy centers around demonstrating techniques, verbalizing principles and engaging students in active practice. I prioritize creating a supportive environment where learners feel encouraged to explore and challenge themselves while also cultivating a sense of community and collaboration.
Additionally, I understand the importance of considering each individual's unique body structure, learning methods, experience, and abilities. I customize lessons to accommodate diverse needs, ensuring that we listen to our bodies and approach practice with mindfulness and self-awareness.
My ultimate goal is to not only teach the technical aspects of flow arts but also to inspire personal growth, self-expression and a deeper connection with oneself and others.
“I had a Havana house party with over 80 guests...very entertaining to watch. A lot of ooohs & aaaaahs. I had the fire eating too! We got to take photos at the end. Definitely will be referring them to all my friends looking. Thank you.”
